After three and half hour driving and a bad experience at another hotel, I decided to book a stay at Ibis Hotel around 10:00 PM, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with a warm smile, and the check-in process was incredibly fast and smooth—I was in my room within five minutes. Although parking wasn’t included in the price, they generously offered me free parking, which was a kind gesture that helped me relax after a rough night. The hotel was very clean, and for the price, it offered excellent value. The friendly service at the reception made all the difference. Plus, the breakfast was great! I highly recommend Ibis Hotel for its cleanliness, affordability, and the welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

The hotel is 30 mins from Rotterdam Centraal by metro+walking, in an area with new modern buildings, almost outside the city, near a huge parking that serves probably Ahoy hall. There is a huge park, too, we didn't have time to explore. A Lidl is a couple minutes walk away from the hotel. The hotel has a very pleasant restaurant with a simple menu, but so well done dishes. We loved the salmon and the tortellini soup. The decorations in the rooms and halfway are really something I've never seen before Definitely quirky. The bed is comfortable. we definitely slept very well. Soundproof was good. Strangely this Ibis was also the cheapest we booked in the Nederlands. Most probably because it is new. Very effective staff at the reception and in the restaurant.

The surrounding area offers excellent amenities, including a variety of restaurants, easily accessible metro stations, and well-stocked supermarkets within walking distance. The accommodations were comfortable, with high-quality bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep. Cleanliness was a standout feature, with the room and common areas maintained to an impressively high standard.

The location is perfect—especially convenient if you’re attending an event at Rotterdam Ahoy or want to explore the city. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of tasty options. We also recommend dinner at the restaurant, super delicious, good price and generous portions. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays. I’ll definitely be back.

About 30 mins from Rotterdam central, so certainly a hotel more suited for those working at, or visiting, an event at the Ahoy. Compared to many other Ibis hotels, this one has lovely interior and is vibrant and colourful. Great breakfast with lots of choice. And a decent, small, gym which is functional.
